  • Passer le aspirateur: I don't vacuum anymore, I 'aspirate' those dust bunnies.

  • Soutien-gorge: And exactly HOW is a bra a 'throat support'?

  • Lèche-vitrines: window-shopping, but literally "window licking" Yep. I've been there.

L'appartement

I've been absent (note to self: develop better blogging habits!) but I haven't been idle. My friend Iz and I have been searching for a Paris apartment for our spring sojourn. We've looked at hundreds of flats between the two of us. How did folks do this before the Internet?

But fortunately for us, we live in modern times and were able to scroll through beaucoup d'appartements, from dumpy to high end. I wish I could visit regular apartments this way (i.e. those in which people actually live and that are not for rent). Haven't you ever looked at a window and wondered who lives there and what it looks like inside?

The details-

Arrondissement: the 10th, right near Canal St.Martin. I wanted to stay in a non-tourist area this trip and experience a more typical Paris.

The flat: beautiful! Take a peek.....
